yes, we do eat the fish.

we follow a catch-print-eat philosophy where we just borrow the fish for a while between ocean and table. we honour and respect the fish as we gently brush it with natural colours to create a print.

the pigments can be rinsed off, or sometimes, when made with plants from the garden, they even enhance the flavour of the fish.

Lisa Lee sometimes works directly at the quayside, creating a print fresh off the boat before it is enjoyed as a family meal or gourmet restaurant dish
